A women-centred initiative which vision is to restore women to wholeness by creating culturally grounded, women-led spaces for identity, healing and collective wellbeing.

MaNTU is a women-focused support and development programme responding to the absence of formal, culturally relevant spaces where women can process trauma, restore identity, regulate their nervous systems and reconnect with purpose. Rooted in African Indigenous knowledge systems and delivered within the AfroSavvy ecosystem, MaNTU offers structured, ethical and accessible support for women across different life stages.

The programme recognises women as anchors of family, community and cultural continuity and addresses the emotional, psychological, spiritual and social burdens they disproportionately carry.

MaNTU is delivered through community-based women’s circles, modular workshops, embodied healing practices, mentorship networks and optional retreats creating layered, accessible pathways to identity restoration, healing, and wellbeing.

Gomora Art Club is an AfroSavvy community outreach programme providing free, facilitated visual arts sessions for children aged 8–13 in under-resourced communities. Rooted in the understanding that creativity is essential to emotional well-being and identity formation, the programme uses art as a tool for self-expression, cultural storytelling, and confidence-building. Through monthly hands-on workshops and collaborative projects, children are supported to develop creative skills, emotional literacy and a sense of belonging. The programme culminates in a community exhibition that celebrates children’s voices, creativity and cultural pride.

Protecting, Nurturing, and Guiding the Girl Child

The Ematjitji Programme creates safe, supportive spaces where girls can grow with confidence, dignity, and cultural grounding. Through mentorship, creative expression, and age-appropriate wellbeing education the programme supports girls to develop strong identities, emotional resilience and healthy boundaries. Rooted in African values and community care, Ematjitji Girls Programme protects and nurtures the girl child through early intervention and trusted support systems.

The Ematjitji Girls Programme is delivered through monthly, community-based camps that combine mentorship, creative expression, life-skills education and safeguarding to protect and nurture girls during critical stages of development.
